It is not surprising that most managers are mediocre at
best. We throw them to the wolves and expect them to be a counselor, mediator,
actor, friend, boss and much more. Why are they not successful?
We give them no
foundation, except their own experiences, to build on. Think back to your own
career, you can count on one hand the great managers you had. They still have a
tremendous effect on your thought process and actions
